The Association

The Association was set up informally in 1999  since which time we have held 11 annual festivals.  In  2010 the Association was formalised with a constitution and the election of office bearers and committee members.

Festivals

The highlight of the  Association is the annual  Festival when members  get  together for a whole weekend to rehearse and perform a variety of concert band music.  There is also an opportunity to engage in social activities and to hear a local band in concert. In each of our annual festivals we have been privileged to be conducted by a number of distinguished musicians 

Membership

Our members are found in bands throughout the UK.  Membership is open to all adult amateur and professional musicians. Do contact us if you are interested in joining or want further information.

Constitution

In 2010, the Association, which had been previously run on an informal basis was formally constituted and a Committee elected under the Chairmanship of Kevin Lamb.
